Adasa Ganesh Mandir

History of Adasa Ganesh Mandir:

The temple has a long and revered history, dating back several centuries. The Adasa Ganesh Mandir is believed to have been established long ago, though exact historical details are not clearly documented. It is said that the idol of Lord Ganesha here is Swayambhu, meaning it is a self-manifested idol that appeared naturally without any human intervention. This aspect makes it particularly sacred and highly revered by devotees.

The Idol of Lord Ganesha:

One of the most striking features of the Adasa Ganesh Mandir is the idol of Lord Ganesha. The idol is large and magnificent, depicting Lord Ganesha in his full glory, with a traditional appearance that includes his elephant head, four hands, and a large pot-belly. It is said that the idol is made from stone and has natural carvings that lend to its sacredness.

Temple Architecture:

The architecture of Adasa Ganesh Mandir is traditional and simple, in line with other ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha in Maharashtra. The temple is constructed in the North Indian style with a Shikhara (dome-like structure) over the sanctum. The entrance is grand with a large gateway, and the inner sanctum houses the idol of Lord Ganesha.
